Ebook Download Instructions and Problem Solving
The files are meant to be downloaded to your computer and read/accessed from there, not from the internet. The link that you receive by email has an expiration time and limited number of access times as well. This means if you try to go back later on and download the file again through the link it will not work. It also means that if you click on the link over and over again the link will stop working but the book is dowloaded to your computer when you click on the link so you have a copy of it every time.
In either of these instances we will have to reset the link for you. We have no problem doing this if needed but if you follow the instructions below it will be much easier on everyone.
If you follow the instructions below it will resolve 99% of all issues with downloading and accessing ebooks from Learn To Catch Catfish.
If you contacted us saying that you could not download a product or have any other issues with an ebook you will get a new email with download information.
The subject line to that email will read something like “Your Purchase From Learn To Catch Catfish is complete”. This email is sent to the email address that you used when you paid for the product, so you need to check that email address.
If you cannot find that email in the inbox check the spam or junk folder first. If you still do not have it contact us again and we will work on finding another way to get your purchase to you.
When you get the email that says “Your Purchase From Learn To Catch Catfish is complete” open the email.
There is a picture below that shows what that email looks like. You want to click on the blue link that we have circled in red below. This will open a page in your web browser.
The picture below shows what the webpage that opens will look like. The text on the left (we have circled this in red below) will have information on any bonus content and how to access it if there is bonus content with the product you purchased.
The blue button on the right that says “download” is what you click on to download the ebook (this is circled in green below). If you click this button it will prompt you to open or save the file. Some web browsers may automatically download the file.
You can also right click on the blue download button and select “save as” or “save link as” and then save the file in the preferred location on your computer.
Once you download the file you can open it and begin reading.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: My computer is giving me a warning saying I might be downloading a virus or something that might harm my computer.
A: We scan all files with three different virus check softwares before we upload for distribution. This warning message is a standard warning that all computers give you when you download a file. There is nothing to be concerned about.
Q: It is taking forever for the file to download.
A: It is a large file, it takes time to download it. Just give it time.
Q: I cannot open the file.
A: You need an Adobe PDF reader to view the file. Most computers have this software on them but if not you can get it for free here.
Q: I download the file and cannot find it on my computer.
A: If you just click on the blue button and download the file it will save to a file on your computer. Usually this is in a folder called “downloads”. If you right clicked on the download button and selected save as it may be in a different location. You can find instructions here on how to find a file that you have downloaded.
Q: I am trying to download the book on my phone and am having problems.
A: First of all make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi. People commonly have issues trying to download the file when on a cellular connection.
Q: I’m clicking the link but nothing is happening.
A: The system works flawlessly and works the same way every time. If you are clicking the link and of the belief nothing is happening then you’re missing something or the file is downloading behind the scenes. Follow the instructions provided above and then look in the downloads folder and you will find the information.
